5. Account Deletion
If you wish to delete your account, you can do so directly through our mobile app by following these steps:
1. Navigate to the User menu.
2. Select My Profile.
3. Click on Delete Account.
Please note that deleting your account is permanent and will remove all your data associated with the account from our systems. This includes personal information, preferences, and any other data you have provided to us. Once the account is deleted, it cannot be undone.

6. Intellectual Property
All content published and made available on www.skrollmedia.com is the intellectual property of Samir Kassir Foundation and/or the third parties (publishers) and is protected by copyright laws, unless expressly stated otherwise. This includes, but is not limited to, images, texts, logos, documents, downloadable files, and anything that contributes to the composition of the website and the mobile application. You may download copyrighted material for your personal use only. Except as otherwise expressly permitted under copyright law, no copying, redistribution, retransmission, publication, or commercial exploitation of downloaded material will be permitted without the express permission of Skroll and the copyright owner.
7. Third-Party Articles
Skroll offers articles and news published by third parties (publishers). Skroll does not endorse the content or topics of these articles and news, but it guarantees that they reflect high-quality journalism and do not involve hate speech, fake news, or other violations of international standards, including human rights principles. In such cases, Skroll ensures to monitor and remove such content if published, and provides a complaint mechanism via the Report button, which can be used by any person with a Skroll account.
8. Links to Other Websites
Skroll contains links to third parties’ websites that Skroll does not own or control. Skroll is not responsible for the content, policies or practices of any third party’s website posted on Skroll. It is your responsibility to read the terms of use and privacy policies of these third parties’ websites before using them.
9. Fees and Donations
Part of the content is accessible for free on Skroll after creating and logging into a Skroll account, if this content is provided for free by the publisher on their website. At the request of the publisher, certain content may require a fee on a "pay-per-content" basis, which is deducted from the Skroll user's credit balance. In such case, the fees collected for paid content are transferred directly and in full to the publisher’s account balance. Users can also support publishers by making direct donations to their accounts. Skroll remains, at all times, a non-profit initiative developed by the non-profit organization Samir Kassir Foundation.
10. Content Sharing
When sharing content available on Skroll, you must not violate any provisions stated in Articles 3 and 4 of these Terms Of Use and must ensure compliance with them.

These Terms Of Use are governed by the laws of the Lebanese State including International Regulations and Instruments, especially human rights-related provisions. Any legal actions related to these terms will be filed in the appropriate court within Lebanon.

15. Termination
The Samir Kassir Foundation reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at its own discretion and without prior notice, if you are using the website and mobile application of Skroll illegally and/or if you violate these Terms Of Use.

We reserve the right to revise and update these Terms Of Use periodically to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When changes are made, we will update the "Effective Date" at the top of this page.
